Flying Field Rules

  • Quadcopters are operated only upon the instructor’s command.

  • Participants may not touch the models without the permission of the instructor.

  • Participants are required to follow the directions of the instructor, and immediately stop operating the drone at the first request of the instructor.

  • In case of collision with an obstacle, the participant must immediately attempt to land the drone.

  • Intentionally crashing into obstacles or other quadcopters is strictly prohibited and may result in removal from the activity.

  • Participants may not cross airfield boundaries and all equipment must remain within the netted activity area at all times.

Activity options:

  • Introduction to quadcopters, operations, and flight techniques

  • Safety instructions

  • Flight practice using training rings and other obstacles

  • Up to 4 attendees can participate at the same time

  • This activity is estimated to take up to 20 minutes, including instruction time.

 

General Arena STEM Rules

  • Running is not allowed within the Arena STEM Center.

  • Please use appropriate language.•    

  • No food or drink is allowed inside the Center.  Smoking is strictly prohibited. 

  • Persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs are not permitted to participate in Arena STEM activities and will be asked to leave the premises. 

  • Upon completion of an activity, all participants must leave the activity area.•    

  • All visitors must comply with Arena STEM’s rules and regulations.  Violation of Arena STEM’s rules and regulations may result in termination of a visitor’s participation without compensation.

  • Parents and guardians are responsible for ensuring that their children are complying with Arena STEM’s rules. 

  • Visitors may be held liable for any intentional damage to property.
